Mr. Wilsey serves as the Branch Head, Infrastructure & Operations (IT), Marine Corps Community Services responsible to the Director MR to implement and manage enterprise IT services supporting the directorates mission to enhance quality of life and family readiness by providing Marines, Sailors, and families with resources, education, training, contacts, and services to manage the challenges of military service and deployments.

Mr. Wilsey previously served as the Branch Head, Navy Enterprise IT Efficiencies, Capabilities and Architecture, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare (DCNO N2/N6).  His primary responsibilities included governance, compliance, and efficiencies relating to DoD, DON, and OPNAV CIO directives and initiatives in the areas Cloud Transformation & Governance, Data Center Consolidation,

Additionally, Mr. Wilsey previously served on the Headquarters Marine Corps, Director, Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) / DDCIO (MC) staff as the IT Procurement Branch Head responsible for the establishment, enforcement, and assessment of congressionally mandated IT investment oversight.

Mr. Wilsey is a retired Marine Corps officer of over 26 years’ and served in a variety of key positions to include: Communication and Information Systems officer.  His key postings were with III Marine Expeditionary Force G-6, 1st Marine Division G-6, 1st Marine Division Communications Co, and 1st Combat Engineer Battalion.  Additionally he served many years as an intelligence chief on multiple Marine and Joint assignments.

Mr. Wilsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Ga.  He is a graduate of the Marine Corps’ Basic and Advanced Communications Officer’s Course, Expeditionary Warfare School, and Command & Staff College.  He holds numerous IT certifications and is working on his CIO qualifications.  Mr. Wilsey is distinguished with many meritorious service awards and was recently awarded the Department of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service medal.
