With Keynote presentations from Lieutenant General Dennis J. Hejlik, Commanding General, II Marine Expeditionary Force , Major General George Allen, USMC Director C4/Chief Information Officer , and Brigadier General Michael M. Brogan, Commanding General, Marine Corps Systems Command . Highlights will include a morning reviewing operational requirements in support of Information Technology, followed by an afternoon focused on Acquisition in support of US Marine Corps requirements.

The Quantico-Potomac AFCEA Chapter announces the first US Marine Corps IT Day. This event is structured to provide relevant and usable information for both active duty and industry IT professionals who support the Marine Corps. The event is developed to provide a full day of important information and to allow a dialogue through question and answer periods following each presentation. Highlights will include a senior operator’s view of IT on the battlefield along with discussion centering on how industry can interface with Marine Corps Systems Command.
The day will begin with a Continental Breakfast during registration, a keynote speaker-luncheon, and will wrap up with an industry mixer rounding out the day. This event will provide a unique opportunity to engage with IT leaders of the Marine Corps and to further business associations with industry and government.
There are opportunities for sponsorship as well to help support scholarship opportunities of deserving men and women within Quantico and the surrounding area.
Attendee’s will receive a Signal Magazine insert entitled “Focus on USMC IT” that highlights USMC IT and provides general point of contact information for all major USMC IT organizations.
The Quantico-Potomac AFCEA Chapter with support of the USMC CIO is proud to offer this opportunity and encourages organizations that support the Marine Corps to consider attending a full day focused on supporting the Marine Corps customer.
